La tonada, HIMNO DE LA ALEGRIA es una adaptación popular de la Novena Sinfonía del famoso compositor Ludwig von Beethoven (alemán, 1770-1827). El arreglo, también de 1969, es de Waldo de los Ríos (argentino, 1934-1977). La letra de la versión en inglés la escribió Ross Parker (inglés, 1914-1974). El cantante Miguel Ríos (español, n. 1944) grabó discos de ambas versiones en 1969 y logró un éxito fenomenal. |

The arrangement is by Waldo de los Ríos (Argentinian, 1934-1977). The lyrics of English version were written by Ross Parker (English, 1914-1974). Both versions were recorded by Miguel Ríos (Spanish, b. 1944) in 1969 and achieved phenomenal success. |
