La tonada OLD HUNDRETH se publicó en el Salterio de Ginebra en 1551, así que es muy probable que el compositor fue Louis Bourgeois (francés, c. 1510-1560). Es el número 382 en Singing the Living Tradition, también en español, pero un poco diferente. El canto original en inglés es el número 381 de Singing the Living Tradition. |
| This doxology is number 70 in Las voces del camino. The original lyrics are by Isaac Watts (English, 1674-1748). The Spanish translation is anonymous. The melody OLD HUNDRETH was published in the Genevan Psalter in 1551, so that it is very likely that the composer was Louis Bourgeois (French, c. 1510-1560). It is number 382 in Singing the Living Tradition, also in Spanish, but a bit different. The English language original is number 381 in Singing the Living Tradition. |
