al ver tu gloria nacer
se llena el campo de tu alegría,
se ve la yerba crecer;

que no fuera como ayer,

en mi vida y en mi ser.

Se mezcla el sol en el horizonte
con un verde cafetal,
en la espesura canta el sinsonte,
vuelve la vida al corral;
y siento el aire fragante,
mezcla de aroma y sudor,

Ojalá algún día una segunda edición de Las voces del camino tenga esta bella canción, que fue incluida entre los himnos sometidos a la Asociación Unitaria Universalista por el Comité del Himnario en Español y que se encuentra en varios himnarios protestantes. La canción (© 1980) es del compositor cubano Heber Romero (n. ¿1951?), y es parte de su Liturgia Criolla. El arreglo es de Felicia Fina, que lo hizo para el himnario metodista Mil voces para celebrar y © 1994 por Abingdon Press.

Hopefully some day a second edition of Las voces del camino will have this beautiful song, which was submitted to the UUA by the Spanish Hymnal Committee and which is found in several Protestant hymnals. The song (© 1980) is by the Cuban composer Heber Romero (b. 1951?) and is part of his Liturgia Criolla. The arrangement is by Felicia Fina, who made it for the Methodist hymnal Mil voces para celebrar and is © 1994 by Abdington Press.
